We discuss the details of your project and take measurements. We will then use the information to provide you with a competitive estimate.

Visit To The Showroom

We will meet with you at the showroom where you can pick the material you like. You will select the specific slabs that will be used in your project.

Template

Installer will create a template of your project and go over all of the details needed like edge design, sink template, special requests, etc.

Install

Installation usually takes a few hours. We will install sinks (no plumbing). The final payment is due on the day of granite top installation.

Are Granite Countertops Absorbent?

Yes, and some granite countertops are more absorbent than others. That is why we seal your tops after installation and we recommend our clients reseal them often. Something that has worked well for us is when clients reseal their granite countertops very often the first 1 or two.

Can I Cut On My Granite Countertop?

You sure can, however, the results may not be what you had in mind. Our fabricators and installers take years to master things like sink cutouts, mixing colors, preparing seams, etc. You also have to keep in mind that granite and quartz are very heavy and hard materials, it is not safe to be handle with simple hand tools.

Can My Granite Countertop Be Damaged?

Yes, there are many things that can damage quartz and granite countertops. Regular kitchen products like oil and wine can stain the countertop. Other harsher materials with high acidity content can also damage the surface of the quartz and granite countertops.

How Long Will It Take To Have My Granite Countertop Installed?

The process of installing your granite countertops will vary depending on the complexity and size of your project, however, installation of an average kitchen takes 4-8 hours. The fabrication and coordination process will take longer, anywhere from 2-4 weeks.

Do I Need To Seal My Granite Countertops?

Yes, we recommend you seal your granite at least once a year but prefer if you can do it often especially the first 2 years, it will pay off over time as your granite countertops will stay nice and shiny for a much longer period of time.

What Is The Thickness Of A Granite Countertop?

Granite countertops typically are made out of 2cm or 3cm material, customers can choose to make the edge thicker by a process called lamination, where the edge of the granite countertops has two pieces glued together to give it the appearance of being thicker.

How To Clean Granite Countertops?

Cleaning granite countertops is pretty straight forward, use water and a cloth. Don’t use harsh chemicals, there are some cleaners designed for granite countertops and those are fine to use following product recommendations.

How Much Does A Granite Countertop Cost?

The range of cost varies a lot. There is no easy answer to this question since there are so many different granites, generally installed granite countertops will range from $50 sqft to over $100 depending on the material.

Chris was our initial point of contact. He was great to work with and explained how the entire process would work. Elvis came out to measure and gave us ideas that we had not thought of. After that we picked out our product, notified Chris and it was ordered. Installation day came and the entire process was great. Elvis and his crew were terrific. They removed our old counters and installed our beautiful quartz countetops!!! The are absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend Granite Karma.

So glad I went with Granite Karma 😊Chris gave multiple options of places throughout the valley to purchase our slab from. I liked that we could go to the showrooms and see the full sized slabs so we knew exactly what the countertops would look like. We picked a white veined quartz from Monterrey Tile Company, but the options were pretty much endless.Margarito was incredibly wonderful with the install. I saw someone else complain about not wearing masks during covid. That was not my experience. I can confirm the team did wear masks. Honestly I was most worried about install because originally we were going to go with a contractor from home depot, but when I looked up reviews for that contractor, the installs were a disaster. People had posted pictures of chipped counters, terrible seaming, and just all around messes. I can't tell you how happy I am we canceled that contract and went with GK. The install was flawless. There was only 1 seam and it is barely noticeable. They even gave us a bonus baby counter for our windowsill with the extra material which was unexpected and so great bc our old windowsill was getting water damaged and looked terrible.I've included some pictures of the work they did, so hopefully they speak for themselves. We haven't gotten our backaplash done yet, so ignore the mismatched painting in the pictures. Wish granite karma installed backsplashes too. We would definitely have gone with them if they did!

I had a little anxiety about the whole process of getting quartz countertops picked out and installed in my new kitchen remodel but Chris was fantastic and walked me through the whole process. We contracted with Granite Karma to provide three bathroom vanity counter tops. Initially two bathrooms were done and couple of mistakes were made. I informed them of the mistakes and in completing the third bathroom they also corrected the mistakes too. This was done to our satisfaction and timely. Chris was easy to get a hold of and he was responsive too. In addition, they were competitive in their pricing to which was a bonus too. We highly recommend them and would use them again.Titus

I can’t say enough good things about Granite Karma. I had Ramone and Elvis install new countertops in a rental home in Tempe I was fixing up and selling. I had trouble with other countertop guys giving me outrageous estimates and poor workmanship on other homes of mine. I called Ramone and he came out the Same day to visit, same day estimate, professional, great pricing, easy to work with, and I would not use anyone else.
