Quartz Countertops in a Fountain Hills Kitchen and Two Baths

When one material runs through a whole home, it creates a sense of calm and cohesion you can feel the moment you walk in. That’s what happened in this Fountain Hills project, where we used Vallejo quartz across the kitchen and two bathroom vanities, tying the entire home together with one soft, marble-look surface.

Vallejo pairs a creamy white background with soft grey veining, it brings warmth and brightness at the same time. Against the home’s rich wood cabinetry, the effect is timeless.

About Vallejo quartz

Vallejo is part of Arizona Tile’s Della Terra Quartz line.  Its creamy white surface with touches of grey, capturres the look of natural marble in an engineered surface.

Because it is quartz, it is built for real life: non-porous, so it never needs sealing, and naturally resistant to stains, scratches, and chips. Cleanup is simple, just warm water and a mild cleaner. One tip we share for any quartz: keep a trivet handy, since very hot pans can affect the surface.

Vallejo gives you the warmth and movement of marble with the everyday durability and low maintenance of quartz.

The kitchen

The kitchen centers on a big island topped in Vallejo, with a deep undermount sink in a warm bronze tone that plays beautifully against the white surface.

We carried the quartz up the wall as a full-height backsplash behind the perimeter counters, giving the veining room to flow and creating a clean, grout-free surface that is easy to wipe down. Paired with the wood cabinets and stainless appliances, the space feels both warm and bright.

Two matching vanities

The same Vallejo continues into two bathroom vanities, each with an undermount sink and a matching quartz backsplash. Using the identical stone in the bathrooms as in the kitchen gives the whole home a designed, cohesive feel, and the soft veining keeps each vanity feeling light and serene.

Frequently asked questions

Are quartz countertops good for both kitchens and bathrooms?
Yes. Quartz is non-porous, low maintenance, and never needs sealing, which makes it a great fit for kitchens and bathrooms alike. Using the same quartz throughout also creates a cohesive look.

Does Vallejo Gold quartz need to be sealed?
No. Like all quartz, Vallejo Gold is non-porous, so it never needs sealing. Simple cleaning with warm water and a mild cleaner keeps it looking its best.

Can you match a backsplash to quartz countertops?
Absolutely. As we did in this Fountain Hills kitchen, running the same quartz up the wall as a full backsplash creates a seamless, high-end look with no grout lines.
